The Growth Fund supports training and skills development in the following thematic areas:

 improving employers’ ability to respond to environmental sustainability and management challenges, including (but not restricted to) low carbon construction and retro-fit production and business support;

 improving collaborative working in the supply chain, for example by creating additional new entrant training opportunities and/or creating additional opportunities for upskilling existing workers;

 developing improved productivity and working practices that will benefit the sector;

 generating growth in training in new emerging skills and specialist sub-sectors e.g. nuclear build and modern methods of construction (MMC);

supporting businesses in accessing new markets.
