About the course:

This half day course is suitable for those who work in the construction industry and use cutting and grinding equipment. The course begins with a classroom based theory session and is followed by practical demonstration and assessment. The course covers:

·    Provision of ‘Use of Work Equipment Regulations
·    Hazards of using abrasive wheels and discs
·    Selection of wheels/discs
·    Changing wheels/discs
·    Using bench mounted grinders (if required)
·    Using hand held angle grinders
·    Petrol driven cutting off machines (Stihl Saw)

Date: Wednesday 29th February 2012.

Duration:
Half day  - 8.30am – 12.30pm.

Venue: West Bromwich.

Cost:  FREE to Levy-Paying MCETG members


Award: Certificated by Stanford Training.
