Who is it for?

This course is intended for people who are required to enter, work in and exit a confined space and use breathing apparatus.

About the course:

This one day course will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical experience to safely enter and work in a confined space using breathing apparatus. You will cover a range of modules to include:

·    Confined space legislation review
·    Atmospheric hazards and gas detection
·    Distinction between types of RPE
·    Care and use of RPE
·    Methods of communication
·    Care and use of PPE
·    Access methods
·    Emergency procedure
·    Self rescue

Dates:  Tuesday 28th  February 2012

Duration:     9.00 – 4.30pm.

Venue:        Birmingham.
