From 6 April 2010, new rules come into force in relation to the reassessment of street works operatives and supervisors ('relevant workers').

The rules require that, from 6 April 2011, registered relevant workers will have to be successfully reassessed before they can re-register.

This reassessment will:

• be in the form of a knowledge-based, multiple-choice test
• reexamine them on the units of competence that they already hold

The only time a relevant worker will have to sit the test is when they wish to re-register.
