About: Training in the use of work equipment is required by most health and safety legislation and work at height regulations. Employers are obliged to train employees. This course is to train delegates in the skills and techniques required, in order that they may safely use work platforms in accordance with good practice and health and safety legislation.

Outcomes This course concentrates upon the skills required by operators of work platforms to ensure safe operation. On successful completion delegates are registered and certificated with the awarding body, International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). The certificate is valid for five years.
